TRAVELERS, TOURISTS + SEEKERS
Sawah Bali creates Awareness regarding Sawah (rice paddies) + Subak (900-year-
old water technology and underpinning for
Balinese Hinduism), so that YOU are able
to make better choices, in matters of healthy food and your accommodations.
Pilot Project Updates
Sawah Bali has begun building permaculture systems on one site in Subak Malung, our pilot project area. We will use this farm as a demonstration site, creating highly efficient and productive systems and inviting neighboring farms to visit, learn and get inspired.
The demonstration farm will allow us to initiate farmers into their transition away from chemical monocropping, and generate interest and enthusiasm in the project. We are inviting volunteers from all over the world to help us work on these structures, which is also causing a lot of excitement!
Take a look at the photos below to see our progress. And please visit our Facebook page to see the latest activities of the site and team. https://www.facebook.com/yayasansawahbali
